Dynamic Calendar
A dynamic Calendar is an excellent way to offer current and up-to-date information to your visitors. You are able to manage the data yourself so that you can post new events at your convenience. The program is designed to automatically remove or strike-through the event once the date has passed, preventing old, stale data from displaying on your website. No need to go back and remove the item from your calendar. That is one less thing you have to worry about.

A graphic representation of the calendar is also available, to give a snapshot view of days with events.

Contest
  1. A contest is a great way to bring new visitors to your site, as well as bring past visitors back to your site. Staying visible is a valuable marketing tool, and a contest is a great way to do so.
  2. Here are some of the features of the Contest package:
  3. You get to create a new contest whenever you want. You will post a photograph and description of the contest prize, as well as the contest start and end date. When the contest is created, each of your current contestants will be invited via email to come back to the site and enter the new contest. The contest will also be displayed on your Contest page along with contest history, including past contest prizes and their winners.
  4. Entering the contest is easy. Existing contestants can simply enter their email address and password to enter the new contest.
  5. New Contestants register online and become a part of your contestant database. Although fraud cannot be completely avoided, there are many checks in place to prevent duplicate registration.
  6. A winner can be drawn by simply pressing the Select Winner button in your contest maintenance program. Not only is a random winner selected from your contestant database, but each contestant in your database is emailed the results of the drawing.
  7. What a great way to keep your visitors interested in your business and your website. And its alot of fun too!
eCommerce
  1. Excellent Web Page Design! has worked hard to develop an eCommerce package that is easy for your customers to use and easy for you to use as well.
  2. First, you are in complete control of your product catalog! You will be able to create, change and remove Categories and Subcategories for your products at any time. You know best how your products should be organized and you have the ability to create this structure yourself using user-friendly, password-protected forms.
  3. You are also able to easily add, change or remove products from your product catalog, as well as upload photographs. One thumbnail and one large photo per product are included in the standard package. If the inspiration hits you at 2:00 a.m. to work on your product catalog, you can do so anywhere that you have internet access.
  4. Ease of navigation is another key feature of this package. Users may browse through categories and subcategories or utilize the keyword search function to bring up a list of products. Ten products will be listed per page, each with the thumbnail photo and a short description. Clicking on any item will bring up a full page on the product and give the customer a chance to add the item to their shopping cart.
  5. Once items are added to the shopping cart, they can be removed at any time or quantities can be changed. Our package is so smart, that if you add the same item more that once, it searches the cart for the item and increases the quantity instead of duplicating a line in your order. Items will remain in the cart for up to one year (stored in cookie on visitors computer).
  6. Another great feature of the shopping cart application is the checkout process. First time customers register into your customer database and are remembered by their email address. Next time they come to make a purchase, they will only have to re-enter their credit card information.
  7. This customer data becomes a valuable part of your database. You have access to modify and add customers through user-friendly, password protected forms. This database can be used with our SendMail utility, allowing you to send promotional email messages to your customers, keeping them informed and interested in your products.
  8. Checkout is secure and fully integrated with your merchant account gateway. When the order is submitted, the credit card information is encrypted and sent to your merchant account company for approval. If an approval is received, you are emailed a notification of the successful order and may retreive the order through your secure area for further processing. The money will be deposited directly into your account through your merchant service. If the credit card is declined, the order is cancelled and the customer is given an opportunity to retry his order.
Job Listings
  1. The Job Listings module is an excellent application for job placement and temporary employment agencies. You can advertise your current openings and keep your staff informed of your latest opportunities.
  2. You will be able to create, change and remove job categories such as Labor, Clerical, Administrative, Technical, etc. Each job listing will be assigned to a category and will feature a title, description, travel requirements, required experience and education and salary information.
  3. Applicants may apply online by cutting and pasting their resume into a form. The online application will sent to you by email.
  4. Optionally, the system can be set up to capture applicant data into a database. You will then have a resource database at your fingertips that you can search when future opportunities arise.
Mailing List
  1. A mailing list can be an excellent marketing tool for your business. In addition to placing your existing customers in your customer database, new visitors to the site can also join your mailing list. When someone joins your mailing list, you will receive an email notification and the new customer will be entered into your database.
  2. The Mailing List feature also includes an email utility, which allows you to send periodic email messages and news to your mailing list. Staying visible to your customer base is an excellent marketing tool.
  3. The Mailing List feature serves two functions:

    • For prospective new clients, who may be simply "window shopping" and not ready to commit, it gives you an opportunity for a follow-up contact. This follow-up will surely improve your chances of turning this prospect into a customer!
    • Secondly, your existing customers can be notified of the addition of new services and/or specials on a regular basis, maintaining your visibility and strengthening your chances of future sales with your existing customers.
Membership
  1. The Membership package allows you to restrict access to certain areas and/or functions of your website to members only. The package features:
  2. Online Registration collects pertinent contact information and creates a temporary Member record in your database. Optionally, you may integrate this application process with credit card processing if there is a fee associated with membership. You will receive an email notification that a membership application was received. You may accept the registration which permanently places the member into your Member database and emails him a welcome message.
  3. You have access to the Member database through user-friendly, password protected forms, allowing you to add new members manually, modify member contact information or to deactivate a member.
  4. You specify which areas and/or functions of your database you would like restricted to members only when the application is being implemented into your site.
  5. Members will have a login area, where they will enter their email address and password. Once logged in, they will be presented with a welcome message and a Member menu listing each of their Member's Only programs. Included in this menu is a Contact Information form, which will allow the Member to update his contact information and credit card information if applicable.
News Pages or What's New!
  1. Keep your visitors informed about the latest information about your company or industry. You can introduce new products, make announcements, even post your latest Employee of the Month!
  2. You can post your news with a start date and end date, controlling when the item is displayed on your site. The News page will display your news, sorting each entry with the newest entries listed at the top. You will be able to remove a listing from the page by either deleting it or un checking the display check box through your maintenance forms.
  3. You may also wish to archive your News articles and provide a keyword search for your customers.
Portfolio / Photo Gallery
  1. Your online portfolio is a great way to showcase your work! When clients call and would like to see samples of your work, send them to your website.
  2. You will be able to create your own categories and change them any time you want. Within each category you will be able to post samples of your work including a title, description, and photograph.
  3. Within each category displayed on your Portfolio page, visitors will see a thumbnail photo and a short description. Clicking on the photo will bring up a larger photograph along with your long description of your work.
  4. Optionally a set of five more photographs can be displayed for each item.
Product Catalog
  1. If eCommerce isn't appropriate for your business, but you would still like to present your products online, the Dynamic Product Catalog is the answer.

  1. Maintaining your own Real Estate Listings will be a breeze with this application! You can create your own categories such as Single Family Homes, Condos, Office Space, etc.
  2. Each listing will be assigned to a category and will feature a thumbnail photograph and up to 4 other photos of the property, as well as title, description, number of bedrooms, price, square footage, etc.
  3. All you will need to do is prepare digital photos of the property and use your user-friendly forms to easily upload them to your website. When properties are sold or no longer available, a few clicks of the mouse will remove them from the site.
SendMail Utility
  1. The SendMail Utility allows you to generate an email broadcast to your customer or member database. Staying visible to your clients is an excellent marketing tool.
  2. Your existing customers can be notified of the addition of new services and/or specials on a regular basis, maintaining your visibility and strengthening your chances of additional sales.
  3. You will simply type the content of your email into a form and press the Test button. The email will only be sent to you for your approval. Once you are satisfied with the email, you will then press the send button and each customer or member in your database that has agreed to receive email will be sent a copy.
  4. At the bottom of each email, the customer will be given the option to stop receiving emails from you. He simply clicks the link and he is automatically flagged not to receive future email broadcasts. There is no action required by you.
  5. Optionally, graphics can be included in your email broadcast for branding, such as your website navigation graphics.
